Ms. Gorrill was a staple in my childhood. Whenever her grandson Andy came to stay with her I would ride my bike over to play Lego's or climb trees with him. She often baked us delicious cookies that she put in the freezer wrapped in tin foil, which made them that much better on a hot summer day. She also baked an amazing Mac and Cheese that too this day has never been outdone. She liked playing Bridge with her friends and tried to teach me and Andy how to play. Being a child though I did not have the focus to really pick it up. Andy on the other hand picked it up better than I did. She was a kind and heart filled person who worked hard to take care of her loved ones. She will be remembered fondly.
