Obituary For Eleanor Sesito

Sestito, Eleanor G. (Fucci, Bullis) – age 91 from Plymouth
Eleanor was born April 29, 1930 and passed away on September 11, 2021 after a long illness.
Born in Weymouth as Eleanor Bullis, she lived in Maine for much of her childhood with her parents, older brother, and two sisters. As an adult, Eleanor returned to Massachusetts where she found love multiple times in her life, first marrying Joseph Fucci Sr and later Vito Sestito. She was eventually widowed, but was blessed to find love again in recent years with her dance partner Benjamin DiBona.
Eleanor had many different jobs throughout her life from working at a candy store to a bookbindery to housekeeping at Boston Motel and Susse Chalet. She spent the majority of her life in Weymouth and Rockland where she raised 5 children and fostered over 100 infants whom she loved and cared for as her own. Eleanor loved spending time with her family and celebrating holidays by making her famous meatballs and having a sombrero. She enjoyed swimming at Wessagusset and Nantasket beaches, daily walks around town, and dressing up with her White Diamonds perfume for dance nights at the Weymouth Senior Center.
She is survived by her 5 five children; Diana Latimer of Rockland, Joseph Fucci Jr of Plymouth, Judith Curtis of Plymouth, John Fucci of Marshfield, and Andrew Sestito of Rockland. She was a loving grandmother to her 8 grandchildren (David Wormald, Michael Wormald, Joseph Fucci III, William Fucci, Crystal Sheeley, Anthony Leahy, Rachel Fucci, and Gina Fucci) and a wonderful great-grandmother to her 4 great-grandchildren (late baby Kristin Wormald, Samantha Wormald, Katie Wormald, and Conor Wormald), and a devoted great-great-grandmother to Blake Wormald-MacDonald and Brielle Wormald.
The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring nurses at Bay Path Care Facility of Duxbury and the compassionate nurses of Cranberry Hospice for their help and care given during this difficult time.
Eleanor was a devout member of the Holy Family Church in Rockland where a memorial mass will be held at a later date
