Obituary For Eleanor L. Walls
Eleanor L. (Mastrodomenico) Walls, 93 of Braintree died at the Sunrise of Braintree Assisted Living Facility on June 4, 2016. She was born on January 9, 1923 in Brockton. Daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Costello) Mastrodomenico, Eleanor was the loving wife to the late Frederick G. Walls, Jr. Raised and educated in Rockland, Eleanor was a graduate of Rockland High School. As a lifelong resident of Rockland, she was a member of the Sons of Italy, the Holy Family Mothers Club as well as a longtime communicant of Holy Family Church in Rockland. Eleanor is survived by her children Fred G. Walls III and his wife Anne of Hanover and Maureen A. Hannigan and her husband Robert Jr. of Hanover. Eleanor was the sister of Grace Cibotti of Florida and the late Mary Mastro, Ida Thomas and John Mastro. She leaves behind her grandchildren Jennifer Walsh, Jessica Walls, Meghan Kelly, Greg Walls and Erin Hannigan. She was the loving great grandmother to Thomas Walsh and Parker Kelly. The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary of The Sacred Heart Church in Hanover. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. Donations in her name may be made to the Rockland Education Foundation P.O Box 764 Rockland, MA 02370.

My deepest sympathy to the Walls Family. Eleanor was a lovely lady and a joy to know. She was very dedicated to the Town of Rockland and a Registrar of Voters for several years.
