Eleanor B. (Barker) Hemmings, of Hanover died on October 12,2007 in the South Shore Hospital. She was born, raised and educated in E. Bridgewater and has made her home in Hanover for the past 60 years. Mrs. Hemmings retired in 1979 from the Andrews and Pierce Trucking Co. in Abington where she had been employed as a bookkeeper for twenty years. She previously worked in the same capacity at Littlefield-Wyman Nursery in Abington. Eleanor was a member of the Hanover Sr. Citizen's group. A daughter, Joan McGeehan of Hanover, survives her. She was the sister of the late Edward D. Barker. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Hanover Center Cemetery.
