Elbridge Frank Simmons, of Rockland, August 23, 2006 Age 86. Husband of the late Margaret B. (Morrill) Simmons. Father of Paul F. Simmons of Hanson and the late Frank S. and Fred M. Simmons. Brother of Fred Simmons of CA and Millie Steinberg of Rockland. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Saturday, August 26th at 1:00 PM. Calling hours were held one hour prior to the service. Donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Mr. Simmons died at his home on Wednesday after a period of failing health. He was born in Hanover, son of the late Percy and Flora (Paris) Simmons and was raised and educated in Rockland. He was a 1939 graduate of Rockland High School. Frank was a World War II Air Force Veteran. He retired several years ago after a long career with the H. H. Arnold Co. in Rockland as an assembler. Rev. Donald Remick of the First Congregational Church in Hanover officiated at the services and after cremation, burial will be in Hanover Center Cemetery.
