Obituary For Edward C. Sherrick
Edward Clifford Sherrick III, 60, of Abington, Massachusetts, passed away on November 28, 2023, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Eddie was born on June 12, 1963, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was a beloved son, father, friend, and brother.
Eddie was known for his quick-witted sense of humor and charisma, his vibrant personality could light up any room. Eddie was also a talented home chef. He cooked up a storm in the kitchen, whipping up mouthwatering dishes like chicken marsala, chili, and his famous pizzas. No doubt he could turn up the heat in his favorite pepper pants!
In his personal life, Eddie is survived by his daughter, Katerina Sherrick, and his ex-spouse, Christine Chisholm. He is also survived by his father, Edward C. Sherrick Jr., his sister, Sabrina (Sherrick) Kane, and his niece, Michaela Kane. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Janet L. (MacFadden) Sherrick.
Eddie graduated from Abington High School in 1981. In 1988, he graduated from Massasoit Community College with an Associate Degree in Science. He then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in June of 1990 from Suffolk University. Prior to getting his college degrees, Eddie proudly served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer with the rank of Specialist 4th Class. He dedicated three years of his life to the military, from 1983 to 1986. Eddie's service was recognized with several military decorations.
Eddie enjoyed a long career as a car salesman. He found success in this field, utilizing his natural charm and communication skills to connect with customers. He was known for forging lasting connections with his clients, earning their trust and loyalty.
In his free time, Eddie enjoyed various hobbies, including cooking, cruising on his motorcycle, cracking jokes, watching movies on the Turner Classic Movie Channel, rooting for his favorite international soccer players, playing the daily NYT Wordle, and spending time with friends and family at the beach.
Private services will be held to honor Eddie's life. The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland, Massachusetts, is assisting the family with his cremation.
Edward Clifford Sherrick III will be remembered for his infectious smile, culinary talents, and dynamic personality. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Eddie and .my son Chris beca.me each other's "first best friend" when they met in first grade. They continued a friendship into adulthood until my son died. Now the two of them can continue to cause trouble , just not in Abi gton Beth Argentinis Godfrey

Chris and Kathy Kane are so deeply sorry for the loss of a wonderful, most friendly guy we know. Ed was a friend that you wouldn't see for years but when you finally met up it's like old times, funny stories and hugs for sure!! Please know you all are in our thoughts❤️❤️
