Mrs Ripley was my first or second grade teacher at Bryantville Elementary. My mom worked there for some time as an assistant and she was a friend of our family.--Paul Minturn

I have known Edie for about 30 years as a member of St. Andrews. I spent a significant amount of time with her and Everett at St Andrews doing everything from landscaping, painting, and repair of about every aspect of the church. I went to their house and did maintenance on occasion, i have visited them in the hospital, they came by my house to inspect my gardens every year. I'll never forget when they bought their first new SUV and were so proud of it and we spent an hour going over every aspect of the vehicle and it's fancy features. As my elders, they taught me a lot about using fewer words, being practical, slowing down and the art of being useful in whatever capacity we all have. Skip Aluisy

Goodby my friend. Happy memories of you and Everett and the good times we shared at St. Andrew's will keep you in my heart. Give Everett a big hug from me.

So many memories of Edie and her beloved Everett during my 40+ years at St. Andrew's Hanover, including winning the flag they donated to a fair that had traveled with them and flown over 49 of the 50 states. They were quite the camping travelers! (And, by the way, a friend took it to Hawaii and it actually flew over the USS Arizona, so it is especially treasured by Roger and I.) Edie was more than special and we are blessed to have known her. Rest in God's Peace, my friend. You will be missed, but the gifts of your time and talents will be part of our lives forever. ♥

Thank you Edie for being such a fine person, neighbor and friend. I''m so lucky to have met you and helped you out when you were in need. Many places I go and things I see remind me of you! I only wish I got to know Everett too....Fortunately, you introduced me to St Andrews and I'm grateful for that. I know you are in a better place now and you and Everett are very happy once again. I'll miss you Edie and I'll aways think of life's little lessons that you shared with me. Thank you my friend.

I team taught with Edie in the seventies at the Bryantville School where she was a kindergarten teacher. She enjoyed being with young children and especially loved playing the piano and singing with them.
My deepest sympathy to her family.
