Tait, Dorothy Ruth "Dottie" (St. Louis), age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 2nd 2019. Predeceased by her parents Loretta and Bernard, son Scott, two sisters Marlene and Brenda and brother Tommy. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Donald, son Mike and his wife Deb, son Donny and his wife Janet, sister Cindy Plourde and her husband Bob, sister Bonnie Crowley, 5 grandchildren Dana, Chris, Kevin Melissa and Christine, two great grandchildren, Tait and Zander and many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Maine, Dottie was a graduate of Old Town High School in 1954. She was a longtime waitress at the Exchange and Clarke's at South Station in Boston. Dottie loved nothing more than to have a houseful of friends and family, cooking, reading, her scratchies, her soap operas and the Hallmark channel. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
