Dorothy M. (Delaney) Thompson, of Rockland December 7, 2006, Age 77. Widow of Robert M. Thompson. Mother of Catherine M. Carlson of Rockland. Sister of Harold Delaney of Dorchester, Shirley Knight of Hanover and Carol Brew of DE and the late Lucille Needle, Fred, James, William , Eleanor and Marylou Delaney. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Family Church on Tuesday, December 12th at 9:00 AM . Burial was private. Dorothy died Thursday in the South Shore Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Care Center in Rockland after a long illness. She was born in Boston daughter of the late Lucille (Moquin) and John J. Delaney. She was a book keeper for many years for Cable Raincoat Co. in Boston. Dorothy was raised and educated in Dorchester and had made her home in Rockland since she moved from Weymouth in 1990.
