Dotty was like a second mother to me. We shared a building where we lived at 63 Webster St., they were on the first floor, we were on the third ..and we entered each other's homes, and lives,. Ias if we were all one big family ! Dotty and Joe moved to be Beech Hill, , we had to track across town to get up that hill but we spent many days enjoying their company, their family's, and in their pool . Later in life I was blessed to have been in contact , talking with her as she grew older and lived in Hanover. over the past year we talked a few times about getting together for lunch. It just never happened . but I'm so blessed and have grateful that I've had to contact with her ..in our conversations with her, I've had over the past year, (And to be blessed enough to have her in my life. )She was an amazing woman. God is so blessed to beginning such an angel. All my prayers, sympathy, positive vibes go out to her children. I know the loss of a mother is difficult as I've lost Mine , speaking of which .. my mother and Dotty were the best friends, for many, many Years , but the memories will always live on in the hearts, and in the stories, she will continue to live on in the love that she left behind 💙😇🙏🏼

I remember Dottie. She was so beautiful and watching her and Joe dancing. They made a beautiful couple. I worked with Joe at Pam's Restaurant on Union St and babysat sometimes on a Saturday night in 1963-64. May you rest in peace beautiful lady.
