Doris Jane Lawn (Picklesimon) passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023, at the age of 82. Born in Chattanooga Tennessee in 1941 to the late Luther and Sarah (Webb) Picklesimon. Doris grew up in Ohio and lived in Quincy, MA for many years before moving to Rockland in 2018. She is survived by her son Bobby Picklesimon and wife Heather of California, son Steven Lawn of Brooksville, Florida, daughter Sheila Lawn and partner Sam Streubel of Rockland, MA, sonMark Magnarelli and his wife Rachele of Quincy, MA, sister Shelba and her late husband Larry “Shorty” McMillion of Mauk, Georgia, sisters-in-law Beverly Picklesimon and Maggie Picklesimon both of Ohio and longtime friend Flora Reed of Sharon, MA. Preceded in death by son Elza Moore of Ohio, brother Robert Picklesimon of Ohio, sister Juanita and husband Clyde Blackwell of Ohio, sister Lovern and husband Doug Kitchen of Ohio, sister Edna and husband Chester “Joker” Jones of Ohio, brother James Picklesimon of Ohio.

Doris was a dedicated CNA for many years. She was a devoted grandmother and will be missed by her 19 grandchildren andmany great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In retirement,Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at the park as well as many adventures on the train.
