Obituary For Doris I. Fulton

Doris I. (Hall) Fulton, 86 of Abington died on January 6, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was born in Terre Haut, Indiana daughter of the late Ray and Ethel (Pierce) Hall and was raised and educated there. She graduated from Garfield High School.

She moved with her husband to Abington in the 1940's and had worked as a Court Stenographer and a clerk at both Cumberland Farms and New England Art. She served as the bookkeeper for her husband at the former Fulton's Laundromat in Abington.

Doris had been an active member of the United Church of Christ in Abington.

Wife of the late Ronald A. Fulton who died in 2006, she is survived by her sons Robert A. and his wife Lori Fulton of Brockton, James R. Fulton of Abington and Paul D. Fulton and his wife Daniela of Brockton. She was the sister of Edith Hedges in Indiana and the sister in law of Roy Seppala of Pembroke as well as the late Natalie Fulton, Harriet Seppala. She was the proud grandmother of Julie, James, John and Joseph Fulton. The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 12, 2015 at the United Church of Christ 10 Bedford Street, Abington, MA 02351 Burial will follow the Funeral Service in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church of Christ in Abington.
