Obituary For Doris "Dottie" M. (MacDonald) Perry

Doris M. (MacDonald) Perry “Dottie�, 87 of Roslindale, May 13, 2010. Dotty was born, raised and educated in Boston, Daughter of the late Daniel, and Margaret MacDonald. She was a graduate of Boston’s Girls Trade High School. Mrs. Perry worked for many years as an assembly line worker for Rustcraft, and for Look Medical Supplies of West Roxbury. Dottie enjoyed crossword puzzles, old movies, daytime TV, and her daughter-in-law Paula’s spaghetti and meatballs. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Dottie was the mother of Raymond T. Perry and his wife Paula of Hanson. Sister of the late Margaret Leonard, Helen Ozek, Alexander MacDonald, and Robert MacDonald. Grandmother of Kristen Orlandella and her husband Adam of Weymouth. Also Grandmother of Ryan Perry and his fiancé Danielle Cyr of North Attleboro. Aunt of Claire McDonough and her husband John of Halifax. The Perry family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Dottie’s life on Monday May 17, 2010 from 6-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. A funeral will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass in St Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson. Donations may be made in her memory to the Beacon Hospice 529 Main ST Suite 102, Charlestown MA

    Sorry I can't be there, but a medical emergency has come up and going to ER My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have many fond childhood memories of doing things with her and Aunt Betty before they had their own families. Going into Boston with them among many other places. Again, my sympathies to you all and sorrow that I will have to miss everything. Love Jean
