Donald C. Hayes, Jr., 52 died April 3, 2008 at his residence in Florida. He was born in Brockton son of Beverly L. (Henderson) Hayes of Hanover and the late Donald C. Hayes, Sr. Donnie was raised and educated in Hanover graduating from Hanover High School and he later attended Massasoit Community College earning degrees in Fire Science and Law Enforcement. He had served for 28 years on the Hanover Fire Department and since moving to Florida he was employed as an EMTI for American Medical Response Ambulance Service. In addition to his mother, his children Donald C. Hayes III of Kingston and Christopher B. Hayes of Halifax survive him. He was the brother of Jacqueline L. Christensen of Hanover and Timothy M. Hayes of NH. A funeral service will be held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Friday, April 11th at 11:00 AM. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hanover Center Cemetery.
