Obituary For Domenic Digiusto

Domenic DiGiusto, of Rockland November 25, 2006 Age 83. Husband of Yolanda A. (Pace) DiGiusto. Father of Dennis C. DiGiusto of IN, Carmen R. DiGiusto of Kingston and MaryAnn P. Ofstein of Whitman. Brother of James DiGiusto of Quincy. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street ROCKLAND, on Tuesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church at 9:00 AM. Calling Hours on Monday from 5-8 PM. Donations may be made to Alzheimers Assoc. 36 Cameron Ave Cambridge, MA 02140. Domenic died in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. He was born in Anversa, Italy son the late Antonia (DelGreco) and Angelo DiGiusto. Domenic was an electrician for General Dynamics in Quincy for over 40 years. Mr. DiGiusto came to the United States in 1938 and was raised and educated in Quincy. He was a WWII Veteran during the Battle of the Bulge and in Normandy. He was an avid football and hockey fan and a former member of the Venezia Lodge of the Sons of Italy. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland..

    Papa...you were one of a kind. A great man who loved his family and was proud of all of us! You gave us all such wonderful memories and in those...we will forever treasure your memory. You gave me a name for my son that will carry far in this family...and as you well know...he is defenitley a little DiGiusto! So, thank you..
