Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear friend Dennis. His friendship and kindness and ever readiness to help you out is a true testament of the way he lived his life, in lieu of the health challenges he faced every day. Denny was a talented and creative wood carver, one gift plaque we shall treasure forever. Always available to lend a hand, Denny would drop everything to be at your side. There are not enough accolades to describe this soft spoken man who enriched all our lives with his positive attitude and gift of giving of himself. Our heartfelt condolences to Gloria and entire Shea Family. God Bless You Dennis-you will be sorely missed by all. Love,Dave & Marilyn Geary -Marshfield Ma

Denny was such a gentle soul.

My fondest memory is sitting on a swarm of red ants on the steps at your house on Byron Rd. Denny poured scalding hot water on them and they quickly vanished.

When my mom was dying, Natalie phoned me at mom's house for a 'report'. While we were chatting, I watched a plane crash into the World Trade Center. We were aghast thinking it was an accident. Moments later, when the second plane crashed, we knew this was something horrible. Sept. 11 2001.

Until she died, and the year following her death, I phoned her and then your dad on Sept. 11th. We made sure to reconnect with a phone call to remember that fateful day.

Our parents were such great friends - I suspect now, the regular Wed. night bridge game can commence!

Such fond memories. So sad to read this, so happy he's 'home'.

    Mr. Shea,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMM during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. Without the Merchant Marine moving the men, weapons, ammunition, supplies or fuel the United States and its Allies wouldn't have been able to fight and win the War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My Aunt Cherry LaLiberte and myself are heartbroken over the passing of our dearest friend Dennis. We will surely miss seeing hi. Next door, puttering around in sickness or health. His caring ways, always around to help us, tirelessly lending a hand in anything from catching that green snake under the bushes to installing the shower head at the time when my aunt Cherry had a hip operation, even remembers to take our trash barrel when I forget to push it out on Trash Day.
Dennis, Heaven is rejoicing for gaining a wonderful soul. While our hearts are grieving, we celebrate you, relieved that you are no longer suffering and free of pain. Go into the light, Natalie awaits you. God grant you eternal rest. Love always, Cherry and Cora
