Obituary For Deborah L Howard

Deborah Lynne Howard (Debbie) 64, passed away peacefully in her sleep the night of October 27, 2023, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born on October 13, 1959 in Weymouth MA to Joyce A. Robinson and the late Frederick A. Robinson.

Debbie was a graduate from Rockland High school and attended Brockton Cosmetology School. During her work career she was a devoted employee at Boston Financial and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Debbie loved spending time outside, doing crafts, watching soap operas and giving her granddaughter cooking and life lessons. Debbie was a kind soul who made everyone feel loved and welcomed even through her battles in sickness. She was a strong, compassionate and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Debbie is survived by her life-long soul mate John O’Loughlin of Rockland, daughter Jennifer Wheeler of Rockland, Mother Joyce Robinson of Rockland. Debbie is also survived by her three sisters Kim Johnson and husband Phillip Johnson of New Hampshire, Shelley Johnston and husband Michael Johnston of Rockland, Karen Labonte and husband Gerry Labonte of Pembroke. Debbie also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Nicholas Rafferty, Tatum Rafferty, Tessa Watson and Shane Foley as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Debbie for her contagious smile and the joy she brought to many around her. May she rest in eternal peace with the Lord and in the hearts of her family and friends.

    Debbie ~ My heart goes out to your Mom Joyce, all of your family and my brother John. Praying you are no longer in pain and up in Heaven with your loved ones. You will be missed by many, we will certainly try to focus on all the good times and looking at these pictures, you guys looked so happy.     To Debbie's family, I was so saddened to read of her passing. We went to junior and senior high school together in Rockland. I will always remember her smile and friendly demeanor.
