I recently learned she passed away. We went to Holy Family School together in the 70's. She was my crush in 7th, 8th grade. A wonderful memory I have of her was at a dance we had at our elementary school. I was afraid to ask her to dance, so I was hiding in a hallway w a bunch my guy classmates. She came barging thru the door and said to me in front of everyone, "Well, are you going to ask me to dance, or not". I had no choice after that announcement.

I am very sorry for the loss of Deb Donovan. I delivered Meals on Wheels to her for years. She was always easy to talk to and polite. I knew that I had to be patient waiting for her to buzz me in. Sometimes I would keep buzzing until I woke her up to receive her meal. We talked about Nantasket beach often. I will miss you Deb. Rest in peace.
