Obituary For David R. Keen

David R. "Dick" Keen, 67 of Marstons Mills formerly of Rockland died on October 14, 2007 at the Cape Cod Hospital. Born in Brockton, son of the late Frank D. and Jane C. (Smith) Keen he was raised and educated in Braintree graduating from Braintree High School in 1958. A longtime Rockland resident, he has made his home in Marstons Mills at the home of his sister and caregiver for the past 2 ½ years. Dick was a member and former trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie, #841 in Rockland. He was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and college football fan. He was the father of Edward W. "Teddy" Keen of Marshfield, Lydia Berksza of Easton and the late Richard A. Keen. Brother of Deborah J. Galotti of Marstons Mills and Judith A. Brundage of GA. Best friend of Rosemarie Beauregard of Rockland. Also surviving are two grand daughters Rachel A. Keen and Francesca Berksza as well as several nieces and nephews. Visiting was on Thursday, October 18th from 5-7 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND with a service beginning at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to C-OMM Firefighters Assn. 1875 RT 28, Centerville, MA 02362.
