David R. Crawford Jr, 84, of Rockland, MA passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022. Born in Brookline, MA, in 1937, he was the son of the late David and Ann (Guthrie) Crawford. Dave was the devoted husband of 61 years to Elizabeth (Betty) Crawford who passed away in 2019. Dave grew up and was educated in Brighton MA. He retired from Raytheon Corp after more than 30 years of service, while also working numerous part time jobs. He especially enjoyed his time working for Tully’s Cleaning Services. Dave was a kind, gentle, easy going man who always put others first. He enjoyed family camping adventures, cruise vacations and casino bus trips. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours over the years working in his yard. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite being Premier League Soccer. Dave’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Loving father to Mark and Patti Crawford of Rockland MA, Scott and Joanne Crawford of Rockland MA, Gary and Amy Crawford of Kingston MA, Kevin and Terri Crawford of Myrtle Beach SC, and Heather Crawford of Vancouver WA. Extremely proud “Beepa” to Mark (Brittany), Ryan (Kaela), Matt (Katie), Jared, Stephanie (Jimmy), Sara, Courtney, Emily (Brendan), Josh (Katie), Adam, Jake and Allie. Great-Beepa to Wells and Eli. Dave is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Dave was predeceased by his son Brian, his brother Robert and his sister Ann (Nancy) Toomey.
