Obituary For David A. Pearson

David A. Pearson, 67, of Plymouth, MA died on August 27, 2021 in California after a motorcycle accident. David was born in Brockton, MA on June 15, 1954. Son of the late Theodore A. Pearson, Sr. and Mary C. (Dugan) Pearson of Rockland, MA. He was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1972. In addition to his mother, he leaves three brothers William (Ann) of Martinez, CA, Paul of Hebzibah, GA, Eric (Janine) of Wake Forest, NC, four sisters MaryAnne Heslin of Carver, MA, Ellen Tinsley of Utica, MS, Kathleen Dorman of Jeffersonville, IN, Maureen Shea of Rockland, MA. In addition, twelve nephews and seven nieces. Predeceased by his brother Stephen, brother Teddy and nephew Christopher Heslin. David was a loyal employee of Reliance Pharmaceutical (formerly Sanofi-Genzyme) of Cambridge and previously worked as a crane operator for many years at Zichelli Construction of Leominster, MA. “Big Dave” was a loving son, a crazy fun uncle and a steadfast brother and friend. A life-long love of music was solidified when he became a member of the Pembroke Imperial Drum and Bugle Corp. Cooking with love for his large family and Men’s Clubs (Alden Club, Cold Spring, and Eagles) was a favorite activity. He also enjoyed boating, golf, motorcycle riding and a good cigar. There will forever be a hole in our hearts without “Big Dave.” A funeral mass will be on Friday, October 15 at 11AM at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. Rockland, MA. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.

    To Dave's family I am so sorry to hear this news. Met Dave years ago playing racquetball. Even years later, when I bumped into him, he would always have a story & make me laugh. He was a great guy!! May he RIP!

    Dear Pearsons I have fond memories of Dave and his family, from Plymouth to Maryland to Mississippi and back again. It was so good to see him at the John Alden and talk about the old days. He was a joy. Steve Murdock

    To all the Pearson family members , I am So sorry for the loss of Dave by this accident, he was doing something he truly loved to do,ride and feel free , I am sure Dave is riding free up in heaven and truly missing all of you , my deepest condolences as I am sure it hurts to say good by at mass but he loves you all
