Darlene Marie (Demars) Miller

July 22, 1968 - December 21, 2023

Darlene Marie (Demars) Miller, 55, of Abington, MA, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023. She was born in Brockton Hospital on July 22, 1968. Darlene spent her childhood in Rockland, MA and now resides in Abington, MA.

After school, Darlene worked at HealthSouth Braintree Hospital for 12 years. There she met beloved friend Susan Baldassini-Ruggiano. Darlene was like a sister to Susan and Susan would serve as officiant at Darlene's wedding. Darlene also worked for eight years as the Operations Manager for specialty clinics at Quincy Medical Center and six years as the Office Manager at Quincy Spine Center. At each stop, Darlene made lifelong friends.

Darlene was proud to begin working with her brother at the Law Office of Christopher Demars in 2016. There she was an extremely talented paralegal who ran the office with tremendous pride and unmatched dedication.

Tremendously important to Darlene were her friendships. Many go back to her childhood on Josh Gray Road in Rockland, particularly special the one with Kelli Moran. Cherished memories were also made as a member of The Mermaids and their annual trips to Block Island, spending time with the North Union group, and with multiple friends dinner groups.

Darlene was a lifelong hockey and football fan. She loved traveling, especially her trips to Yellowstone, Costa Rica and Alaska. A beach fan, Darlene enjoyed and explored many of the Carribean islands. Darlene also loved taking walks, a good swingset, country music, and floating in her pool.

Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Miller, her best friend and Mom, Rose (Bernhardt) Demars, brother Christopher Demars and his wife Michelle of Hanover, MA, and brother David Demars of Rockland, MA. She is also survived by treasured nephews and nieces Liam, Brooke, Savanna, Ella, Elizabeth, Noah, Marian, Abigail and Natalie.

Visiting hours are 4-7pm on December 26th at the Magoun Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St, Rockland, MA. A memorial service will be held at 10am on December 27th at Lutheran Church of the Cross at 77 Rockland Street, Hanover, MA 02339.
