Obituary For Darin J. Lourenco

Darin J. Lourenco, 59, of Whitman, Mass, passed away, after a brief illness, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on December 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Family was so very important to him.

He is survived by his son, Adam J. Lourenco, the mother of his son, Jessica Myrick, of Pembroke, and his two grandsons, Jadon and Mason.

His brother, Dale R. Lourenco, and his wife, Yvonne Lourenco, of Florida.

His sisters, Donna Volpe, and her husband, Michael Volpe of Florida, Debra Cookson and Kevin Cookson of Hanson,Ma, Denice Lourenco, of Florida, Deana St. Jean, and her husband Mark St. Jean, of Florida.

His mother, Gloria (Pennini) Lourenco, and her life partner, John (Judd) Levangie of Florida.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and they all adored him.

Darin worked alongside his brother, Dale, for many years as an auto mechanic at Lourenco's Auto Repair. He also worked at Larry's Auto.

He was a hard worker, always taking on the big repair jobs, and worked all hours of the night to get the job done.

His passion was getting his hands dirty.

Always the life of the party, he loved to have fun and joke around. He had a beautiful and infectious smile. People were always drawn to his charismatic personality.

He enjoyed anything to do with cars, being outdoors, ice racing, dirt biking, camping, boating, water skiing and an occasional high cliff jump.

Everyone who knew Darin loved him.

A service will be held at Magoun Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland on December 11, 2023 from 5-8 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
