Dear Pat and Family: We are so very sorry that Danny has passed on. He was a great guy and he gave it the fight of his life. He always had a smile on his face and a big hug for us - even when we met the two of you at the chemo center. You were his strength Pat and you should be so very proud of everything you did. Life ended way to soon for Danny but at least we know he is at peace and will never suffer again. You were both so good to Mom - now it is her turn to take care of Danny, I'm sure she's having a special welcome tea for him as we speak. You will always hold a very special place in our family Pat, just as Danny does in our hearts. We hope that all of you can find peace in knowing that another very special angel is watching over us. Peace and Love, Pam & Family

For those folks that knew Danny, they will forever remember his wit, humor, courage and faith. As my friend for over 40 years, I have many wonderful memories...far too many to share here. However, I can share with you Danny's great love for sports, especially baseball. As kids we played ball everyday the weather permitted. And with every game, Danny would pop another home run, far out of the school yard, and quite often too far to retreive. It became comical: no matter how you pitched to him: high, low, curve ball or sinker, he would wait on the right pitch, time his swing, and batta-boom. After a while we would run out of baseballs and have to use black electrical tape to fix up old balls with no covers. That, however, made it all the easier for him to blast the ball clear out of the school yard, and have it often land on the roof of the 3 story house across the street. He loved basketball as well, and was forever hitting three point shots. His aim was uncanny and it was fun to watch. Now, of course for all of you that know Danny, you must also know he loved football. Here again, with what appeared to be very little physical effort, he could pass a football, on a nice spirial, over 50 yards; I know...I was on the receiving end of many of them. I have many wonderful memories of Danny, and I will cherish them forever.

It was my privilege to work with Dan through some of those ups and downs, ins and outs, and daily stresses that seem so important during the workday and so trivial in the larger scheme of things. Dan was the kind of guy you wanted on your side at work, because his sense of humor and sense of perspective never seemed to desert him. Somehow even the last time I saw him -- and he had been through a lot -- Dan had that typical twinkle in his eye. I almost missed it because I was so caught up in some urgent computer crisis of the moment. I forget the crisis. I will never forget that twinkle, because it was so hard-won and so full of wisdom and kindness. God bless you, and thanks for sharing Dan with us.

There once was a man from nantucket,No No Roses are red violets are blue, No No Dan was the man who laid a good plan, he followed his heart and accomplished many goals. The greatest goal was having loving family and friends. If we can live our lives as he has done, then we will have understood what he has felt and the love he has for all of our families and friends. He was gifted!!!

Dear Pat, Ethel & family, Danny is now enjoying the beauty of heaven where the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ is the light. Our imaginations are not big enough to realize what all that means. Our hearts are filled with grief but God's word soothes us as our friends pray for us. We will hold you close in friendships that will bring comfort to you. I look forward to sharing with you in these months that follow. Psa 29:4,11 The voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is majestic. 11 - The Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace. Love & Prayers, Shirley Tschetter
