Daniel J. Kelly 60 of Milford, formerly of Rockland died on October 13, 2015 at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph G. and Marjorie V. (Gilbert) Kelly. He was raised and educated in Rockland graduating from Rockland High School in 1973. While in school he was a member of the Bulldog Football team. He later attended Northeastern University.

Dan was a water technician for more than 25 years. A former Lexington resident, he has made his home in Milford for the past several years. He enjoyed horseracing and spending time with his family.

He was the husband of the late Olga (Lara) Kelly who died in 2003, he is survived by two sons, Cimar and Brian Kelly and his wife Hieu Tieu all of Boston. He was the brother of Sharon E. Kelly-Sammon and her husband J. Michael and Robert B. Kelly and his wife Martha all of Rockland and Michael L. Kelly of VA. He was the longtime boyfriend of Helene Murphy of Mansfield, Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life on Friday October 16, 2015 from 5-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday October 17, 2015, 2015 in the Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Randolph.
