Dale A. Esker, 74 of Hanson died on August 9, 2013 at his home in Hanson surrounded by his family. He was born in Fall River, son of the late Wilford and Margaret (Lawrence) Esker and was raised and educated in Barrington Rhode Island where he attended The St. Andrew's School. During High School Dale was a great athlete and a thirteen time varsity letterman. Mr. Esker was a proud veteran of our Nations Armed Services serving in the United States Navy. Dale Worked for many years as driving an 18 wheeler as a Long Haul Trucker. Later Dale and his wife owned and operated the Plympton Country Store in Plympton MA.

Mr. Esker was a true family man, and loved spending time with his Grandchildren. Together, Dale and his wife enjoyed creating ceramic artworks together. Dale was the Husband of Elna E. (Anderson) Esker. Father of David A. Esker of Hanson, Derek A. Esker of Bridgewater, and the late Darren A. Esker. Grandfather of, Dale A. Esker, and Darren A. Esker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Esker family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Dale's life on Tuesday August 13, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Services will be followed by cremation..
