Obituary For Courtney Anne Neville
Courtney Anne (Pusko) Neville of Hanover died on October 23, 2019 after a sudden and brief illness. Courtney was born on September 10, 1983 in Cheshire, CT to George and Judy (Goldstone) Pusko. She was an honors student in the Cheshire Schools, where she made many lifelong friends. She was active in the Girl Scouts, achieving the Silver Award. She was an accomplished volleyball player and played for Marist College. After graduating with honors from Marist, she continued her education at Northeastern University where she obtained her Masters Degree in Speech & Language Pathology. She was currently working in the Hanover Public School system as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the elementary schools. Courtney dedicated her professional career so that children could share their words, thoughts, and feelings without fear and with the confidence and clarity to live the life of their dreams.
Courtney was a gift to all that met her. She was loved by all that she came in contact with. She was authentic, she never judged, and appreciated the unique value of everyone she met. She believed in everyone's best story, and once you met her, you wanted her to be a part of your story as well. Courtney's true passion was her family. Dan was the love of her life, and they were looking forward to watching their daughters grow up to be the amazing women they are destined to become. She loved to travel, she spent a semester studying in Italy, and has traveled to Hawaii, Thailand, Brazil and Argentina, but her favorite trips were with her family to the Cape or to the family cabin in the Adirondacks. She was an animal lover as well, keeping chickens and rabbits, but her favorite of all was her pup Jake.
Courtney was the beloved wife of Daniel O. Neville of Hanover, and the adoring mother of Lila Claire, Cora Grace, and Louisa Rose. She was the cherished daughter of George & Judy Pusko, and dear granddaughter of Betty Goldstone. Loving sister of Geoffrey Pusko and his wife Grace. Devoted daughter-in law to Augustine & Mildred Neville. Adored sister in law to Meaghan & Andrew Dunne, Maura & Josh Hines, and Meredith & Shawn Dooley. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews that will miss her enormously, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and a tremendous group of friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Jerry Goldstone and Pawel & Maria Pusko.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours Friday, November 1, from 5-8 at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland. Her funeral will be celebrated on Saturday November 2, at 11am at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church in Hanover. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Dan I don't know where to begin. It is in times like these that we look for "the right words", but I am convinced that there are none. Courtney was and will remain a beautiful soul who touched so many. She choose you as her other half and I surly know how much she adored you. Her love for you was matter-of-fact. It was simple. It was wholehearted. It was divine.
I feel so blessed and forever grateful that I was allowed the opportunity to call Courtney a best friend. It is because of this that my heart is in such pain. Graduate school was a challenge, but Courtney made it that much easier. I feel very fortunate to have spent such wonderful times with you and she---- shopping for her wedding dress and finding it, seeing her face light up when she came into class with the most gorgeous engagement ring I've ever seen following your proposal, Chinese at your apartment in Southie, camping in Maine.... the list only continues.
Dan you are strong, loved, and you were her center. My heart reaches for yours and I send you my strength and love everyday. You and your beautiful children will forever be in my heart and on my mind. I am always here for you.

In her short years on earth, Courtney made an impact on everything she did and everyone she met. Our hearts are so heavy trying to make sense of this tragedy. She will always be in our hearts and minds. Let's see what we can do to make Dan's burden lighter from here on in. God bless Dan and the little girls.

Courtney was a very special person. I remember working closely with her in Brookline. She was patient and caring. I recall her dream to become an SLP and she was so excited to enter the program at NEU. My heart breaks of this news. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to all of her family and friends.
