Mrs. Garvey was such a wonderful woman. Always so good to me and to my daughter at the Jefferson School. She knew every child's name as well as their parents. Running into her around town, she knew who you were and always had something nice to say. My parents thought the world of her. She truly made a difference here in this town. I will always remember her fondly. God Bless you. - Pamela Ryan

So sorry to hear about Claire's passing. So many good memories, but my favorite is when she read The Night Before Christmas to all the Kindergartners before the Holidays every year. The children loved it as well as the teachers. She leaves behind a warm and caring legacy to the town of Rockland as well as the school system. RIP Claire. Nancy Burley

K.C. I am so sorry to hear about Claire's passing. I spent a few special times driving her to wakes of departed friends in Boston and always enjoyed our time together. She also made many visits up to Holy Family Rectory where she could share her stories. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about Claire and especially the birthday cards. Every year for maybe 30 years! You see our dear friend Fr. Bill C. and I shared the same birthday. Of course, he is older! Hugs to you and know that your mom and dad adored you! ALWAYS!
