Claire (Kilduff) Duncklee, 88 of Rockland died on May 7, 2016 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late John and Anna (Flaherty) Kilduff and was raised and educated in Dorchester, She was a graduate of Dorchester High School.

Mrs. Duncklee has made her home in Rockland since 1962. She participated in the Rockland Council on Aging. She retired many years ago after being a telephone operator at New England Telephone in Whitman.

Wife of the late George A. Duncklee, Jr. She was the mother of George A. Duncklee, III of Rockland and the late Kenneth P. Duncklee. She was the grandmother of Dawn Olandi.

The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, at 8:00 AM prior to a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
