Obituary For Christopher J. Curran

Christopher J. Curran - 55

It is with very heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved brother, Christopher John Curran. Chris was the youngest of 7 children and a beacon of light in the lives of all his family and friends. Chris is now back in the loving arms of his Incredible Mom, Jean Ann Curran Traverse who left us just over 3 years ago, his Dad, Thomas F. Curran who left us 40 years ago, and his kind & generous step Dad, Robert Traverse who left us 8 years ago.

Chris is survived by his many loving siblings and their spouses who were more than blessed to have him play an incredibly funny, playful & loving part in their lives. Thomas and his wife Cheryl, Robert and his fiancé Maureen, Mark and his wife Crissi, Leslie Stinson and husband Steve, JoAnne Fernandes and husband Dan, Deborah Brown and husband Ned.

Chris was also blessed with many nieces & nephews, & grand nieces & nephews as well as many extended family members & friends. Chris is now resting comfortably in his mother’s arms in heaven: free of any worldly handicaps or illness. He will be greatly missed by his grateful and loving family who were blessed to have shared their lives with him, and patiently await the time when all will be united once again as one big happy family in heaven.

The Curran Family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Chris’ life on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home. A funeral home service will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery.

Donations in Christopher’s name may be made to:

Tim Tebow Foundation’s “A Night to Shine.” 2220 County Road 210 W Suite 108, PMB 317 Jacksonville, FL 32259
