Obituary For Cheryl J. Gallant

Cheryl J Gallant, age 59 of Hanover, passed away on Friday, March 10th. She was born to the late Bernard Nunn and Katherine Johnson on October 8, 1957. Cheryl attended Hanover High School, before attending Quincy College of Nursing. She completed her BSN at the University of Phoenix and practiced pediatric nursing for over 20 years.

Children were Cheryl's passion and delight. In addition to being survived by her three children- Jennifer Gallant (Fiancé Andrew Backman) of Middleboro, Jessica (Husband Gregory) Ebert of Scituate, and Timothy (Partner Nicholas Dyer) of Rochester, NY- five grandchildren - Kaelyn, Rowan, Sawyer, Ariana and Kyla - she leaves behind a large number of families who's lives she touched with her loving care and kind wisdom. She is also survived by her loving Fiancé, Randall Dobbs and his daughter, Katie, both of Gainesville, FL and her former husband and lifelong friend Michael Gallant of Hanover.

Cheryl is also survived by her brothers George and his wife Tricia of Rockland, Bernard and his wife Sharon of Hanson and Steven and his wife Paula of Whitman, her sister Laura Orabi and her husband Jason of Danville California and many other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her late brother Jeffery Nunn.

The family wishes to thank all of those who helped and cared for Cheryl in her last months with them, especially the amazing team at Mass General Hospital.

Cheryl's family would like to invite family and friends to join them as they celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street, Rockland on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00-8-00 PM. Memorial Donations can be made to The Home for Little Wanderers, 10 Guest St, Boston MA and Saint Jude's Memorial Fund.
