Charles F. Spelios, of Framingham formerly of Pembroke. December 21, 2006 Age 79. Husband of the late Noreen J. (Healy) Spelios. Brother of the late James S. Spelios. Survived by his Sister-In-Law, Margaret S. Spelios of Ashland. A nephew James S. Spelios, III of FL. Two nieces, Susan S. Spelios of CT. and Carol A. Cooney of Northbridge. Grand Uncle of Rianne Cooney. A Funeral Mass was held in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. ROCKLAND on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Calling hours were omitted. The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND is assisting the Spelios family. Charles died on Thursday at the Oak Knoll Health Care Facility in Framingham. He was born in Boston; son of the late James S. and Delia (Redding) Spelios and was raised and educated there. He was a graduate of Boston English High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and served as a Seabee during World War II. He retired in 1981 after a 40-year career as a mail sorter at the South Postal Annex in Boston. He was a member of the National Postal Mail Handlers Union. Burial followed the Funeral Mass in the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
