Obituary For Catherine I. Mcnamara-Pedersen

Catherine I. McNamara-Pederson (Thibeault) of Rockland passed away on Tuesday August 9,2016. She was born in Weymouth Ma on May 18,1935.

She was the daughter of the late Albert and Sara Thibeault. Sister of Edward Thibeault, Joseph Thibeault, and Helen Lukeman (Thibeault). Loving wife of the late James McNamara and the late Eric Pederson. Mother of the late Michael McNamara, the late Maureen Newcomb (McNamara), Patrick McNamara and his wife Holly McNamara (Snell). Grandmother to Keri Driscoll (McNamara), Julie Leeber (Newcomb), Lauri MacFayden (McNamara), the late Katie Newcomb, Kristi Newcomb, Shane McNamara and Brianna McNamara. Great Grandmother to 7.

Cathy was born and raised in Weymouth, Ma and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1953. A long time resident of Rockland she loved spending time with her family and friends.She was an avid golfer and a member of the Rockland Golf Course for many years. She worked as an administrative assistant at Tedeschi Foods where she later retired. She will be sadly missed by many.

A Private Funeral Service be held at The Magoun Biggins Funeral Home, and burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.

Cathy was a wonderful lady and a good friend. She endured many heartaches in her lifetime and has earned her spot in Heaven. We're sure she's celebrating with Jim, Michael, Maureen, Eric and the rest of her loved ones who passed before her. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Forever rest in peace Cathy!
