Obituary For Catherine E. Tellier
Catherine E. "Kay" (McGrath) Tellier, 74 of Marshfield, formerly of Rockland died on December 15, 2007 in the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth after a period of failing health. She was born in Rockland, daughter of the late Frank L. and Dorothy A. (Moran) McGrath and was raised and educated there. She was a graduate of Rockland High School. Kay had formerly been employed as a waitress at the Alamo Restaurant in Abington and had worked at Balfour Co. in Attleboro for several years. She loved to knit, crochet and bake. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #8345 in Marshfield and volunteered her time frequently for functions in support of disabled veterans. She is survived by her former husband Robert L. Tellier of Florida and her children Dennis F. Tellier of Squantum, Michael A. Tellier and Shawn E. Tellier of FL, Brian R. Tellier and Terri M. Sampson of Marshfield, Brenda L. Tellier of Weymouth and Lori A. Peddell of Kingston. She was the sister of the late Dorothy A. Welch and is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Funeral was held from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Thursday, December 20th at 10:15 AM. A Funeral Mass followed in Holy Family Church at 11:00 AM. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Calling hours were on Wednesday, December 19th from 4-7 PM in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Jordan Hospital, Cardiovascular Unit 275 Sandwich St. Plymouth, MA 02360.
