Carol Anne (Jollimore) Furlong of Rockland MA. She is the daughter of the late Elliott Greenwood and Mary E (Cotter) Jollimore. Born & raised with her siblings Elliot, Natalie Peebles and Mary Barsell in Dorchester. She is predeceased by her sister Mary & Brother in law Bill Barsell of Holbrook and her brother Elliot of Cocoa FL. Her sister Natalie lives in Thonotosassa Fl.

She married Thomas Francis Furlong Jr on 6/19/55. He passed away in 2015. She met her husband while at Dorchester High School. They had 6 children Richard T and his wife Celine, Thomas P, Elliot W all of Rockland, Russell F and his wife Lee of Carver, Denise Faught and her husband Mitchell of Lusby MD, and James E and his wife Pam of Whitman. She was the grandmother to Andrea, Richard Jr, Michael, Kristina, Courtney, Jenna, James Jr., Aubrey, Anthony, Joseph, Kaylee and Mackenzie Furlong. Dana Ayers,Travis Faught, Ashley Crowley and Melissa Henshaw. Carol also had 17 great grandchildren.

Carol and Tom enjoyed traveling, especially their annual trip to Aruba with her sister Mary and her husband Bill. What made her most happy was being home surrounded by her family and the many children she took care of over the years.

We would like to thank the caring employees at Colony House in Abington for making our mother feel at home loving and caring for her.

Visiting hours will be at The Magoun Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland are Monday September 19, 2022 from 4-7 with pre burial ceremony Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Magoun Biggins followed by Interment at Holy Family Cemetery.
