Carol was the wife of the late Robert A. Buotte, Sr. To whom she was married for 56 wonderful years, shared many cherished memories, and built an amazing family.

Her legacy lives on through the continued generations of her family and the many lives she has touched with her kindness and unwavering love.

Carol lived with her family in many places, Nantucket being her favorite. She obtained her Nursing degree, LPN, where she had a career in many hospitals including Brockton, MA,

Florida, and at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. at which time she was the

Employee Health Nurse under Dr. Steven Golden, as well as working on the floors. She then joined Dr. Brian Battista at his practice in Weymouth, until her retirement. Although she had a career in Nursing, her first career and lasting one was motherhood. Carol and Bob then moved to Viera, Florida where they spent many relaxing years in the sun.

Carol adored her many poodles, reading, painting, and knitting. She had a gift for nurturing her garden, as she did for the people she loved so dearly. She cooked meals that brought her family and friends together. She lived a life filled with grace and 10 ve, always putting others before herself. Her home was a place of comfort where everyone felt welcome. Her family will forever remember the countless moments of joy she created, her tender hugs that made everything feel right, and the wisdom she shared so freely. Carol had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, and her faith in God gave her strength through any and every challenge she faced. She taught her children to find inner strength in God and reach out to Him as well.

Her passing leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but the memories she created will be cherished for generations by all that knew her and were blessed to be loved by her. And as we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those she loved.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life from 4-7pm, on Wednesday, September 4th, at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland, MA.

I remember Carol as a staple each Sunday at Living Word Church where I met her. She was surrounded by the Lord Jesus, her family, the Word of God and her friends and would linger with them over a nice cup of coffee between services. She is a beautiful soul inside and out! She is dancing with Jesus in her heavenly home and enjoying all the stories from the Bible firsthand. Till we meet again!

My 1st memory of Aunt Carol is when she and Uncle Bob brought me to New Bedford for the summer when I was 11. She was 21 and Cheryl about a year old. I spent part of every summer with "my summer family" for the next 10 years. In that time, Aunt Carol introduced me to kale soup (long before kale was a cool veg), and fried linguica sandwiches. We all went to Lincoln Park, the clam festival, the beach and, of course, to church. Aunt Carol's faith was always important to her even to the point of putting the miraculous medal on each of the kid's shirt or diaper. She was a fierce mama bear long before social media coined the term! There are no words to say how much she has meant to me, but I'm grateful that I was able to see her on one of her last days and tell her in person as best I could. I know that we will be together again. John 6:40 For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.
