Obituary For Carol Anne McInerney

Carol Anne (Dowdell) McInerney, 76, of Abington died on October 8, 2017 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was born on July 17, 1941 in Troy, NY to the late John and Mary (Ward) Dowdell. She was raised and educated in Troy and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy. Carol was retired from Kindercare, and prior to that had worked for Harland Printing and Republic Packaging. She enjoyed playing computer games, annual bingo trips to Foxwoods and watching the Game Show Network. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the loving mother to Elizabeth (Betty-Anne) McInerney of Pembroke, Susan Schultz and her husband James of Hanson, Michelle Mozzicato and her husband Michael of Stoneham, Michael McInerney of NY, Sean McInerney and Kristen of Quincy and Kathleen Conners and her husband Michael of Abington. Carol was the sister of John Dowdell, Annmarie McQuade, Paul Dowdell and the late Father Aaron Dowdell and Mark Dowdell. Carol adored her twelve grandchildren, Nichole, Steven, Melissa, Dennis, Zachary, Matthew, Anthony, Jacob, Mark, Sean, Brendan, and Shaun Halie. In addition, five great grandchildren, Shane, Austin, Mackenzie, Maeve, and Braden will miss her dearly. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Carol's life on Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 12, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will be private. For more information please visit www.magounbiggins.com

This is so hard, I can't believe that you are not here with us anymore. I know you are at peace. I miss our Tuesday's, you were the one I went to when I was offered a job to make sure you were ok with it. You sacrificed so much for your family, thank you for being you!
