Carmella (Rosa) Tanzi, 87 of Rockland died on February 8, 2011 at the South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockland after a period of failing health. She was born in Italy daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Marchesa) Rosa and was raised and educated there. Carmella loved to knit and cook and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Wife of the late Rocco Tanzi she is survived by her relatives in the Tanzi and Cassani families. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Friday February 11, 2011, at 8:15 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM in the Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial be in Holy Family Cemetery.
