Obituary For Beverly J. Parker

Beverly Jeanne (Valli) Parker, a lifelong Hanover resident, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019 with her children at her side. Born October 7,1932 she was the daughter of the late Allen and Astrid Valli. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Parker, she was the loving mother of Dr. John Parker of Hanover, Barry Parker of Hanover and Robyn Hennigan and her husband Tim of Brant Rock; cherished grandmother of Ryan and Alyssa Hennigan, Hayley and Bret Parker and Tucker Matheson; beloved great grandmother of Evalynn Hennigan. She is survived by her brother Allen Valli Jr and his wife Karen of Vernon, CT and a sister Nancy Davis of Hanover.

Beverly was raised in Assinippi Massachusetts on her family's farm, graduated from Sylvester High School and received her associates degree from Chandler School for Women. She worked for Rockland Trust Company for a number of years before leaving to raise her children. Along with her husband she helped run numerous home businesses including A & B Motor Scooter Co., sold Camp Fours and Truck Campers and owned the Hanover Skate Shop. For the past 30 years she was the manager of her son's office, Parker Chiropractic. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be remembered for her loving and caring attention to each of them and her outgoing spirit and kindness to all.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 28th at St. Mary's Church, Hanover at 9am. Donations in Beverly's memory may be made to Friends of Hanover Hockey, Po Box 1201, Hanover, Ma 02339.

    Jay, family and staff, please accept our deepest sympathies on Beverly's passing. We were greatly saddened to hear of Bev's passing. She was a wonderful, caring, compassionate and loving lady. We are very blessed that we had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. We will fondly remember all the wonderful conversations, laughs and stories of old Hanover. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

    I never knew she passed
    and I'm sorry I missed her funeral. I loved her very much and she was a kind woman. Tell Robin,Barry and Jay sorry for their loss. I miss talking to her on the phone.

    I am so sorry to hear this news. As a patient of Parker Chiropractic for over 30 years I looked forward to my conversations with Beverly in the waiting room. She was a lovely lady. My condolences to all of the Parker family for your loss. Know that she will be fondly remembered by many, many people whose paths she crossed and that is the best achievement any of us can hope for in life.
