Obituary For Beverly J. Mellen-Lovell
Beverly J. Mellen-Lovell, 64 of Rockland died on November 5, 2012 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was born in Gloversville, NY daughter of Herbert Graham and Dorothy Phillips and was raised and educated there. A former Brockton and Weymouth resident, she has made her home in Rockland since 1993. She had a diverse career serving as an aide at Logan healthcare in Braintree and several other local nursing homes. Bev also worked at the former Rockland Savings Bank and at Talbot's in the Derby Shops and was a top seller in the children's wear department. She also had a successful position as a customer service representative at Boston Financial Data Services. She is survived by her husband Edwin T. Lovell, Jr., her son Thomas J. Mellen of Pembroke and his fiancée Kelli MacDonald and a grandson Christian Mellen. She was the sister of the late Herbert "Butch" Graham. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Friday November 9, 2012 from 5-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday September 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St. Boston, MA.
