Obituary For Beverly A. Shenett

Beverly Ann (Duquette) Shenett, 79, of Rockland died on June 2, 2017 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was born on September 29, 1937 in Brockton to Wilfred and Vivian (George) Duquette. Beverly was raised and educated in Brockton.

Beverly was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family very much. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, puzzles and interior decorating. But spending time with family was what she most enjoyed because it kept her young at heart.

She was the former wife of Edward Shenett and the mother of Tamie Perry of Pembroke, Wayne Shenett of Rockland and the late Corine Shenett. Beverly is survived by her sister Kate Morgan of ME, Sharon VanAuken of NC, Yvonne Shea of RI, Gerry Duquette of Brockton, Frank Duquette of Brockton, Dale Duquette of Brockton and her siblings who have gone before her, Betty Huxley, Judy Duquette, Willie Duquette, Richard Duquette, Bruce Duquette, Mark Duquette and Jeff Duquette. She was the loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her sister in law Sue Ellen Duquette, and her niece Robin Garland, as well as her many other nieces and nephews and all of her dear friends.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Beverly's life on Friday June 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation. For more information please visit www.magounbiggins.com

    Jamie and Wayne,
So sorry for your great loss of your beautiful mom. I worked with Bev at ESL. Her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life. She treasured all of you. I don't think she ever got over losing Corrine. May all the prayers and help from your friends help you all through these dark days ahead. God Bless.
