Antonette (Favazza) Fitzpatrick “Netta” “Toni”, 94, passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2024. Toni was born in the North End of Boston on June 7th, 1930 to the late Frank and Mary Favazza. Toni is survived by her sisters Katy Catizone and her husband Tony of Florida, and Carol and her late husband Al Sarruda of Weymouth. She is also survived by her sons Keith and his wife Lelina, Mark and his wife Patty, and Jack and his wife Paula. Toni is predeceased by her son Kenny and her brother Joseph. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She grew up in Boston’s North End surrounded by family. She cherished memories of rollerskating, swimming, and movies in Scollay Square with friends. She enjoyed summer vacations in Gloucester at her grandparent’s home. During those later teen years she loved to go dancing in Revere. Toni worked at the telephone company as a switchboard operator as a teen. Later she worked catering at Gilbert & Davis and cleaned houses to provide for her family.
Toni raised her family in Rockland in a small neighborhood where she would make many life long friends. She was a kind, compassionate and dedicated caregiver to a neighbor for many years. Toni was also an active member of Holy Family Church in Rockland. She was often involved with volunteering.
Toni vacationed on the Cape with her sister and cousin yearly and was the first to attend family cookouts. She was also an avid reader and loved going to the movies.
Toni moved to Plymouth where she would stroll along the waterfront and enjoy her strawberry ice cream by the Mayflower and loved to attend the many events including art galleries and parades.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Antonette’s name to
Beacon Hospice, Plymouth, MA or Alzheimer’s Association or Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
The Fitzpatrick family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Antonette’s life on Friday, September 20, 2024 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home from 9:00 -10:30 AM. A funeral home service will be held at 10:30 AM.
