Anne C. Hoey, 82, of Weymouth died on April 8, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Anne was born on September 28, 1934 in Quincy to the late Charles and Mary (Franna) Carey. She was raised and educated in West Quincy. She was a longtime resident of Rockland and resided in Weymouth for the past 5 years. Anne formerly worked for the Whatman Company in Rockland and was a member of St. Gregory's Parish.

Anne was the mother of Mike Hoey of PA, Stephen Hoey of Hanson, Kathy Hoey of Weymouth and the late Tom Hoey. She was the sister of Mary Franna Mahoney of FL, Bernadette Fitzmaurice of Quincy, Charles Carey of Quincy, the late Judith Carey and Kathleen Carey. Her 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews will dearly miss her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 24, 2017 at St. Mary's Church 121 Crescent St. in Quincy at 10:00 AM.. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Quincy will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
