She was born in Rockland, daughter of the late Antonio Spaziani and Nancy Cardarelli of Italy. Ann was raised and educated in Rockland and was a 1949 graduate of Rockland High School. She maintained her high school spirit by helping to organize many class reunions. She worked her entire life- helping to put her children through school and then reinvented herself from waitress to Customer Service Supervisor at Ark-Les Corporation in Stoughton. Her charity projects were Camp Jabberwocky for children with special needs and the Hartsuff Park Recreation Area in Rockland. In her retirement years she became a member of the Red Hats Society, was an avid bowler in Holbrook on a team called the Sun-Ups, enjoyed line dancing, cross-fit, yoga and her Saturday night poker club. Ann was a voracious reader and frequent flyer at Rockland Memorial Library. She filled every moment of every day- with time spent in her famous garden or turning out noteworthy meals in her kitchen. Even on the slow days she immersed herself in Swedish weaving. Ann is survived by her daughter Ellen M. Bloom of Plymouth, Lisa A. Yucius of Quincy, her son Michael J. Yucius of New Jersey and the late Robert M. Yucius. She was the loving sister of Lydia Paskavitch of Kingston, Claire Danko of Florida and the late Eunice Williams, Lawrence Spaziani, Ralph and Guido Spaziani. Ann was such a kind person, so cheerful and energetic. I bowled with her and danced Zumba with her , she was an inspiration to all that knew her. I hope the love she shared with all those that knew her brings some comfort to her family. She will be missed.

It was my pleasure to call Ann a wonderful Evening Division Membership friend. We shared many moments at Federation meetings and I will miss her at Past Presidents' Club. Because I am in Florida, I was unable to personally express my sympathy. Carolyn McSherry

Ellen, Lisa and Michael, Anna was truly a "great lady." Mom was entertaining, filled with all kinds of information and the life of the party. Wherever she was, there was fun to follow. Her attitude was contagious. She always made everyone feel so comfortable as if they had known her for years. My favorite memory of your mom will be her dancing at the Nate Berkus Show warm up. At 80 years old she was the most popular, making the audience smile and clap loudly at her performance. Her energy and zest for life was amazing. She will be so missed.
