Our friend Annie, with her witty sense of humor and her funky colored fingernails, fun sweatshirts and bright colored shirts. A smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. The laughter that we shared and the tears that we shed. Generous, kind, loyal, loving, dependable, determined. A heart full of love. Compassionate, feisty, humble, sensitive, silly. An amazing friend. So many wonderful memories, 18 years worth. Cribbage (19), family parties, holidays, neighborhood parties, our telephone conversations that would last her whole commute home from work. Laughter. How grateful and proud we are to call her our friend, our family, our Annie. R.I.P - Always in our hearts. Gloria and Kurt McHugh and Family.

Some of my greatest memories of Ann, are being in the stands cheering on our favorite team. We had a lot of fun reminding the men in the black and white striped shirts that our team needed a little help that day. There were many of those games that the weather was not so good. I knew that when I would show up there, she would be ready for the game. We had a lot of fun no matter what the outcome of the game. The memory of Ann Marie Hoarty will live on with me forever... Rest in peace my friend...

  • 05/25/2021

Let me start by saying last night and today was a beautiful tribute to the life you led. And the weeks that led up to this , you were completely surrounded by friends, family and LOVE. Your passing has effected us terribly. I will miss you. I was lucky to know and love you and call you my friend. I felt so helpless while you were sick, I applied for a charity # to run the Boston Marathon in your honor!! I know I made another cut last week as they wanted more information from me. I will wear my perrywinkle ribbon and have a picture of you with me. if they decide to give me the # for Dana Farber ... I will raise all the money required and have you along side me every step of the way.. Although a bucket list thing for me... It will be for YOU!!! I love you.... Your void will be felt by so many....

No words can express the passing, of our best friend. Ann and family became part of my family thru my brother. Ann loved life, she enjoyed the holidays, wedding, graduations and any special event to get together. She lite up the room when she would arrive. I will never forget the big smile and then ask how I have been behaving. We will never forget her and always will have a place in our hearts.
