Obituary For Ann Marie Henry

Ann Marie (Kelly) Henry 82, of Rockland, MA, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born and raised in Dorchester, Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Kelly. She attended Dorchester schools and Girls’ Latin School in Boston. Ann then went on to obtain her degree in Mathematics from Boston State University.

Ann shared her love of knowledge with hundreds of children; teaching at multiple schools. She taught in Boston, Hanover and Whitman-Hanson before taking a position at Holy Family School in Rockland where she would teach math and religion for 28 years. Ann was dedicated to her faith attending mass daily at Holy Family Church while also serving as a Eucharistic Minister. Perhaps her most cherished role was that of mother and grandmother; hosting weekly family gatherings for decades. Her most beloved times were spent with her family.

Ann is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert M. Henry, her siblings Ellen Coleman and her husband Richard, and Robert Kelly. She is survived by her children John Henry and his Wife Deann of Rockland, Theresa Coakley and her Husband Brian of Rockland, Joseph Henry and his Wife Sarah of Pembroke, and Robert Henry and his Wife Stephanie of Rockland, as well as her sister-in-law Muriel Kelly of Plymouth. She was lovingly known as “Mom” to her Grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Raven, Stephen, Grace, Caitlyn, John, Faith, Kevin, Meghan, Michael, Hope, Sean, and Jacob. She was also known as “Gigi” to her great granddaughters, Valerie and Charlotte. She also leaves behind close family friends, Dave and Sandra Donnelly of Rockland and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann’s life on Monday July 6th, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held in The Holy Family Church on Tuesday July 7th, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in The Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
