Obituary For Ann (Davis) Wolfe

Ann (Davis) Wolfe, 77 of Biddeford, ME formerly of Rockland and Weymouth died on October 29, 2016 at the South Shore Hospital. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late James and Esther (Shapiro) Davis and was raised and educated in Sharon. She was a longtime Rockland resident and later lived in Weymouth before retiring to Maine 20 years ago.

Mrs. Wolfe had been a longtime secretary at the Travelers Insurance Company and had also worked at Walgreen's in Weymouth. She was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert L. Wolfe and their children, Heidi S. Hosmer of Rockland, Ilene D. Delorey of Sanford, ME, Thomas M. Wolfe of Plymouth and Cindy L. Wolfe of Biddeford, ME. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street, Rockland, MA. A Funeral Service will be celebrated following visitation at 11:30 AM. After cremation, burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Rockland Veteran's Memorial, 242 Union Street Rockland, MA 02370.

    No matter how well we know someone, when they pass away the easiest thing to remember is how they made us feel. Ann was obviously a very kind person all around and I'm sure that everyone who knew her will miss her very much. I'll make sure to keep her in my prayers and hope that she will be with us once again on the resurrection day promised in Matthew 10 : 28 by the very son of God, our savior Jesus Christ. May Ann stay In our hearts and in God's memory.
