ANDREW LEITCH

Hanover - Andrew Leitch, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16. He formerly lived in Quincy and Weymouth and has lived in Hanover for over 50 years. He was born in Scotland and immigrated to Massachusetts in December 1956 with his loving wife Isobel. Andrew was in the Royal Air Force in Scotland. He spent most of his career working as a Draftsman for Westinghouse and REXA/Koso America. He was also a talented musician in the 60's/70's playing the sax, clarinet and organ with different bands at weddings and in restaurants in the South Shore area.

Andrew was predeceased by his wife, Isobel H. Leitch. He was a devoted and loving father of Janet Bishop and her husband Bob of Pembroke; Andrew Leitch of Boynton Beach, Florida; David Leitch and his wife Sue of Hanson. His pride and joy were his grandchildren: David Bishop of Pembroke; Jennifer Paniccia and her husband Pete of Monroe, CT; Greg Leitch of Lima, OH; Adam Leitch of Boynton Beach, FL; Faith and Emily Leitch of Hanson. Also survived by his 4 great-grandsons, Aiden and Cameron Paniccia of CT; Jackson and Hayden Leitch of OH. He was predeceased by his brother John Leitch of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Massachusetts, Canada and overseas.

The Magoun Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland assisted with the arrangements and a private burial for the family will take place at the Hanover Cemetery.
