I just found out this information as I continue looking at Wasgatt data. In 2003 my husband Ben and I (Suzanne Wasgatt Johnson)from Minnesota visited the family. We were privilged to meet Amos at George's home in Worcester and most of the family. He was very gracious in sharing our common heritage. God bless his memory among us.

My sincere condolences to the Wasgatt family;Mr. Wasgatt was my in-laws attorney for yrs., so when I married their Son, bringing a 4 yr, old into the mix from Va., He was one of the first people I met. His kindness never left me. My Mother always had a saying she taught me, " People may forget what you do or say, but they never forget how they make you feel", and she was right!

I have fond memories of Mr. Wasgatt and his entire family. He was a pleasure to be around and always very kind to me. I cannot make it to his service this evening but I offer my thoughts and prayers. The Wasgatt's are a wonderful family and for the short time I spent with them, I have lasting memories.
