Obituary For Alphonse Dure
Alphonse "Al" Duré, 88, of Rockland, passed away on November 15. He was surrounded with his loved ones by his side.
In 1972, Al and his wife Adeline moved to Rockland with their 3 children.
Al enjoyed deep sea fishing trip out of Gloucester, watching re-runs of classic tv shows and he was a huge Celtics and Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Adeline Duré of Rockland. His daughter Arlene Duré-Greene and her husband Matt of Brooklyn, sons Ronald of Lowell and Richard of Braintree. He was the loving grandfather of Emily Power, Joshua Morrison, James Duré, Matthew Greene, Kylah Flynn, Alex Greene and Owen Duré. He was great grandfather to Jeffrey Power. He leaves behind close family friend Mysteria Flynn, many cousins, the Dorismond’s, the Cassamajor’s, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Al was a great Husband, Father and Grandfather. He is going to be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Visiting hours will be Friday, December 17 from 11am-12pm at Magoun-Biggins, 135 Union St. Rockland, MA

Sorry for your loss I worked with Al many years at State Street Bank and Trust in several departments he was a great and funny guy. We would always catch up when I saw him around Rockland.
